Install a portable build from ZIP

Portable builds run from a local folder and do not need a traditional installer.

Steps

  1. Download the Lightweight Capture or Lightweight Editor portable ZIP.
  2. Right-click the file, choose Extract All, and place it in a trusted local folder.
  3. Open the extracted folder and run the application EXE.
  4. Pin the EXE to Start or create a desktop shortcut if you use it often.
